Battle of Aleppo
Most of Aleppo city was controled by a de facto Syrian opposition coalition since 2012. In July 2016, Syrian government troops started an offensive an closed the rebels' last supply line into Aleppo. Opposition forces launched unsuccessful counteroffensives in September and October that failed to break the siege. in November, government forces and ligned forces launched a campaign that resulted in the recapture of all of the city in December 2016.
Kit bashing
This T-55 was assembled using parts not used when mounting other T-55 kits. to be more precise, the case comes from the old PST kit, the turret and the rolling pebbles of the very good Ace model kit, the tracks come from the okB Grigorov range
Other pieces were recovered from an unused turret of T-55 Trumpeter. The kit was extensively detailed using solid documentation, plastic card, copper wire, and aluminum sheet.
The engine range, quite fanciful on the original kit has been redone, the connections of the reservoirs added, among other details
